“The Lord is my strength and my shield, in whom my heart trusts” (Psalm 28:7) đź’•

God has always been there for me.

I was born and raised in Puyallup, WA, where I thought I would spend the rest of my life at. But, God always has a plan-- my family and I made an unexpected move to Vancouver in Fall 2010 for my dad’s new job. Here, I have been blessed with many educational opportunities in pursuit of becoming a teacher.

I graduated twice from WSUV, majoring in English and Spanish; Elementary Education. I have been inspired by wonderful educators and find it a rewarding opportunity. I have worked in a before and after school program before working for Evergreen Public Schools, where I worked for 5 years as a language staff.

But, my true calling was to be the classroom teacher, and I made the leap of faith to teach at Hosanna. I believe it is important to learn in an environment where you can express your beliefs and faith with staff and students alike, especially during these challenging times, where we can walk alongside God together.

I met my husband, Jesse, Winter 2012. I am blessed to have met my best friend and soulmate. We have 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
