Job Title: Full-Time Middle & High School Science Teacher

Position Overview:

Hosanna Christian School, a private Christian school located in Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a qualified and passionate Full-Time Science Teacher to join our staff. The Science Teacher will be responsible for providing engaging and enriching science lessons in subjects such as Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry. The teacher will also be willing to teach classes such as Research & Collaboration and Marketing. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Science Teacher will perform the following duties:

    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, following the provided curriculum
    • Create a positive, faith-integrated classroom environment
    • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
    • Collaborate with faculty and maintain strong communication with parents

Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Valid Washington state Teaching Certificate (required)
  • Endorsements in science preferred
  • Experience teaching middle and/or high school students
  • Strong instructional, classroom management, and communication skills
  • Commitment to academic excellence within a Christ-centered environment.
