A Note From Our Principal

I'm Kayla Bose, Hosanna's new Principal. I can't wait to meet you!

June 2021

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I have previous experience teaching at Hosanna and I am so excited to be returning as the Principal. I am looking forward to getting to know current and prospective students as we embark on the 2021/22 school year this Fall.

First, I wanted to share a little about me. My husband and I have two children, one who will be attending Hosanna in the Fall and one who is almost a year old and continues to steal our hearts everyday. I have lived in a variety of places in the state of Oregon, overseas in the UK and in Clark County, Washington. I received my Bachelor’s of Social Sciences from Washington State University, a Master’s of Education from George Fox University and am continuing my education in the Doctoral Program of Educational Leadership also at George Fox University. To say the least, education and leadership are passions of mine and I am thrilled for the opportunity to combine both in this new role.

Hosanna is an incredible community. It is made up of qualified and dedicated teachers, supportive and involved parents and students that come to school with a readiness to learn and grow everyday. This type of environment is inspiring and makes furthering the vision of Hosanna a job that I am so excited to have. I am thankful to be a part of this team and am grateful for your support and partnership as we work to bring that vision to life for the students at Hosanna.

As we move forward to the 2021/22 school year, we will be continuing our mission to inspire our students to academic excellence and achievement and setting high standards of personal character. Hosanna places an emphasis on strong values and a family atmosphere and stands for being a Christ-centered, value-centric and academically rigorous educational institution. We will continue to strive for that as we embark on next year’s journey together.

Kayla Bose earned her Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from Washington State University, a Master’s in Education from George Fox University and is currently a Doctoral student at George Fox University’s Educational Leadership Program.

What my students say about me

Miss Kayla was the best teacher I've ever had. I have been to three different elementary schools and she is the first teacher that took the time to meet me where I was and provide exactly what I needed.

Olivia Holmes

I wish Miss Kayla could be my teacher next year too. She makes class fun and teaches in a way that we all enjoy. I love going to her class. She is also so smart!

Julia Moore

She was probably the hardest teacher I've had so far, but also the best. She was always there for me in class when I was struggling and I know she cared about me as a person. Thank you Miss Kayla!

Roberto Lopez

We need to figure out how to clone Miss Kayla. My friends in other classes are always saying they wished they were in my class so they could have Miss Kayla.
